Update: Head-on Wreck Kills Two and Leaves Four Injuried

Lifesaver was called to transport two of the victims.

Another teen is dead after a deadly car crash Sunday.
13 year old Shaquandra Ogletree of Pleasant Grover died from her injuries.
The head-on collision on an overpass also killed another teen, 15 year old Jamal Jordan of Brighton and seriously injured four others. The vehicles collided sometime around 1:30 p.m. on Ensley/Pleasant Grove Road, near the intersection of Tin Mill Road. Birmingham, Fairfield, and Pleasant Grove firefighters treated the injured

Witnesses to the deadly collision told the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department one vehicle was traveling at a "very high rate of speed" when it struck an oncoming vehicle.
Sheriff's department Public Information Officer Randy Christian said witnesses driving on Ensley/Pleasant Grove Road said a vehicle heading west passed them in the middle of the bridge. The witnesses said the "vehicle was traveling at very high rate of speed and struck an oncoming vehicle causing it to go into the air and land upside down."
Four other people were injuried, including a 6 month old infant who was airlifed by Lifesaver to Children's hospital. The driver of the oncoming vehicle, a 54-year-old woman, was transported to UAB Hospital.
