According to Randy Christian, police responded to a report of a suspicious person at Cathedral Of the Cross School in Centerpoint.
Police were alerted after a man bypassed the front desk checkpoint and entered the school without permission.
The school was initially put on lockdown and a head count was taken after the students were evacuated.
Police have issued the all clear and students and teachers have been let back in to the building.
