Apple-Shaped Cheese Ball
8 oz white cheddar cheese
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
Paprika
1 (½ inch) cinnamon stick
1 bay leaf
Process cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, and red pepper in a food processor until smooth, stopping to scrape down sides.
2. Chill for 30 minutes.
3. Shape cheese mixture into a ball, and make an indention in the top to resemble an apple.
4. Chill ball for 30 minutes.
5. Coat ball heavily with paprika, cover, and chill for 1 hour.
6. Insert a cinnamon stick and bay leaf into indentation to resemble apple stem and leaf.
7. Serve with assorted crackers.
