Veranda’s Cranberry Compote
1 bag (12 oz.) FreshCranberries
1 cup White Sugar
½ cup Water
½ cup Orange Juice
2 oz. Gran Marnier or Triple Sec
Zest of 1 orange
1 tbsp. Fresh Mint, chopped
Place all ingredients except the zest and the mint in a small saucepot, bring to a simmer and cook until berries start to pop. Add the mint and the zest, let cool.
