Big Sky Bread’s Granola is a nutritional powerhouse loaded with oats, almonds, and sesame, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. It is great for snacking and makes a wholesome breakfast. Here, crumbled atop warm sautéed apples, it seems more decadent than healthy. What better way to fool the kids?
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon packed dark brown sugar
6 Braeburn Apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1-inch chunks
8 ounces Big Sky Granola. crumbled
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
4 tablespoons vanilla yogurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the apple chunks, spices, and sugar, tossing to combine. sauté the apples until they release their juices and have just begun to soften, about 10 minutes. Divide the apples amoung four small bowls. Top with equal portions of the crumbled Big Sky granola and garnish each with a tablespoon of vanilla yogurt and serve warm.
