Makes 6 servings
1 (16-ounce) package spicy pork sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
6 English muffins, split
Garnish: chopped red and green bell peppers
1. In a large skillet, combine sausage and onion.
2. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, for 4 to 6 minutes, or until sausage is browned and crumbly.
3. Drain sausage mixture. Reduce heat to medium-low.
4. Return sausage mixture to skillet. Add cream cheese to skillet.
5. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until cream cheese is melted and combined with sausage. Stir in bell pepper.
6. Spread on split English muffin halves. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.
7. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 15 minutes, or until cooked through.
Cherry Pineapple Cheer from Celebrate Christmas magazine

Makes about 8 drinks
2 cups pineapple juice
1/4 cup maraschino cherry syrup
8 maraschino cherries
1 (750-milliliter) bottle Prosecco
1. In a medium bowl, combine pineapple juice and cherry syrup.
2. Place 1 cherry in the bottom of each champagne flute.
3. Pour 1/4 cup pineapple mixture into bottom of each flute.
4. Top with Prosecco or sparkling cider.
