Oven Baked, Buffalo Style Chicken Wings
Serve with the traditional favorite! Blue Cheese Dressing and Celery Sticks!
Yield: 4 entrée-size portions
Ingredients
24 ea Chicken wings, wing tips removed and wings split at the joint
As needed Salt
½ C Butter
¼ - ½ C Frank’s Hot Sauce (you’re in charge of how hot you want it to be!)
2 T – 4 T Champagne vinegar (you’re in charge of how tart you want it to be!)
Method
Preheat conventional oven to 450oF.
Place wings on parchment paper-lined sheet pans in a single layer. Season with salt.
Bake until crispy (!); approximately 45 minutes.
Melt the butter in a skillet and swirl in the Frank’s Hot Sauce, and then swirl in the vinegar. Bring just to the simmer point.
Pour the sauce into a large bowl. Add the wings and toss to coat.
Transfer to a serving platter and serve immediately with blue cheese dressing and celery sticks.
