Crabcake mix-for every pound of lump crab meat, add ¼ cup of diced onions, celery, red bell peppers, spicy mustard and a touch of bread crumbs.
Tablespoon size portions…roll in a ball and flatten…place on an oven safe pan.
Sprinkle basil bread crumbs on top. (Fresh basil, parmesan cheese, and crushed up stale bread)
Put in the 350 degree oven and bake for 8-10 minutes.
Serve with a Creole aioli. (Peppers, celery, vinegar, cayenne pepper and a little mayo) and a side spinach salad tossed in a mustard vinaigrette (Creole mustard, red wine vinegar, and a little olive oil).
Gently toss so the spinach will not bruise.
