It’s important when playing that you dial the correct phone number is dialed: That number is: 205-741-9674.
We've been told someone, who we think is getting misdialed contest phone calls, is answering their phone; falsely telling the contest player he or she is the 13th caller; giving them “a code number” and telling them to call 205-933-1313 to let the station know they won. No other information is exchanged.
Please don't be fooled by this tactic. As per the published rules of this Contest, the 13th caller is told they are the winner and the station representative answering the phone asks for: the winning word; the caller’s name, address, phone number; email address and date of birth. The 14th caller is asked for a name and phone number to be called as an alternate winner in case the original winner does not qualify.
